REFERRAL PROGRAM
Lighter Referral Code:
LIGHTERPEDIA
Using our link attaches code LIGHTERPEDIA to your new Lighter account automatically. Lighter's own documentation says referred users then get 10% off the trading fees they pay, rebated every Monday from sign-up, and that all rebates are discretionary. Regular orders on a standard account are 0% maker and 0% taker either way, so read the terms below before assuming the code is worth anything to you.
Program terms on this page are quoted from Lighter's referral documentation, read 26 October 2026. Lighter can change them at any time; check the source before acting.
The Lighter referral code used on this site is LIGHTERPEDIA. Signing up through the referral link applies it automatically. According to Lighter's referral documentation, referred users get a 10% discount on the trading fees they pay, rebated every Monday, and referrers earn 10% or 20% of the gross fees their referred users pay. Attribution is set at sign-up and cannot be added later. This is a description of Lighter's program, not an offer made by Lighterpedia.
Lighter Referral Code (2026)
The Lighter referral code used on this site is LIGHTERPEDIA. Because Lighter's standard accounts are already zero-fee, a referral code cannot lower what a regular order costs there, because it costs nothing. What Lighter's documentation describes is a 10% discount on the fees a referred user does pay: Premium fees, and the 1 bp a standard account pays on TWAP, advanced orders and RFQ.
To apply the code, visit app.lighter.xyz/?referral=LIGHTERPEDIA and sign up. The code is carried in the link, so it is attached to your account the moment you create it — no code to type, no manual activation.
Important: Lighter states that referral attribution is permanent — once a code is used at sign-up it cannot be changed, and if you create an account without a referral link there is no way to add one afterwards.
For the tier percentages, what Lighter calls discretionary, and how attribution is recorded, read the full LIGHTERPEDIA referral code guide.

Is the Lighter Referral Code Worth Using?
For most users the honest answer is that it changes very little. Lighter's standard accounts pay 0% maker and 0% taker on regular orders, and the documented referral benefit is 10% off fees you pay. On a standard account that only touches TWAP, advanced orders and RFQ, which cost 1 bp. It becomes worth more if you trade on Premium, where every fill carries a fee.
Using a code costs nothing and cannot increase what you pay. It also cannot be added later, so if you are going to use one, it has to be at sign-up. Note that this site earns a share of the fees referred users pay, which is a reason to check Lighter's own terms rather than take this page's word for it.
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, financial, or investment advice. Trading perpetual futures with leverage can lose you more than you deposit. Rules differ by jurisdiction and change often — check the primary sources and a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here.

How the Lighter Referral Program Works
What Does the Referrer Earn?
Lighter documents a kickback on the gross fees paid by referred users, at a rate that depends on the referrer's tier:
| Tier | Kickback | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 10% | Available to everyone |
| Silver | 20% | 15+ unique referrals, each active for 5+ days |
Quoted from Lighter's referral docs, read 26 October 2026. Lighter counts a referral as active once that user has traded on at least 5 separate days, reviews tier upgrades manually on Mondays, does not apply them retroactively, and grants them at its discretion.
How Are Rebates Paid?
Lighter says rebates for both sides are paid weekly as L2 transfers, with each Monday's payout covering fees generated from Monday 00:00 UTC through Sunday 23:59 UTC of the preceding week, subject to a $1 minimum. It also states that all kickbacks and rebates are discretionary, that wash trading and self-referrals result in disqualification, that trades routed through its partner attribution program with a non-zero integrator fee do not count, and that it may modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time.
How Do You Get a Lighter Referral Code?
Use the referral code LIGHTERPEDIA shown on this page, or any other referral link. Click through to app.lighter.xyz/?referral=LIGHTERPEDIA, sign up, and the code is attached to the new account. Unlike centralized exchanges that let you enter promo codes at any time, Lighter's referral attribution is set once, at account creation. To create your own link, open the referrals section in the Lighter app.
Lighter says kickbacks and discounts apply on all its markets: perps (crypto, RWAs and pre-IPO, at up to 50x leverage), spot, and binary options. To see how Lighter compares elsewhere, read our Lighter vs Hyperliquid comparison.

Frequently Asked Questions
Per Lighter's referral documentation, joining through a referral link prompts you to take a 10% discount on the trading fees you pay, rebated to you every Monday, starting at sign-up. The same page says referred users get their first week of Premium/Advanced fees rebated. Lighter states that all rebates are discretionary. Regular orders on a standard account are 0% maker and 0% taker with or without a code, so the discount only matters on fees you actually pay: Premium fees, or the 1 bp a standard account pays on TWAP, advanced orders and RFQ. Check the current terms in Lighter's referral docs before relying on it.
No. Lighter documents referral attribution as permanent: once a code is used at sign-up it cannot be changed, and it cannot be added to an account that already exists. That is why the link has to be used before the account is created.
Only fees you actually pay. Regular orders on a standard account already trade at 0% maker and 0% taker, so there is nothing to reduce there. Where you do pay a fee (Premium trading, or the 1 bp a standard account pays on TWAP, advanced orders and RFQ), Lighter documents a 10% discount for referred users, rebated every Monday. Lighter describes those rebates as discretionary and says it may change or end the program at any time.
Lighter documents two referrer tiers, each paying a percentage of the gross fees referred users pay: Bronze 10%, available to everyone, and Silver 20%, requiring 15 or more unique referrals each active for 5 or more days. A referral counts as active once that user has traded on at least 5 separate days. Lighter states that tier upgrades are reviewed manually on Mondays, are not applied retroactively, and are granted at its discretion.
Lighter says rebates for both referrers and referred users are paid weekly as L2 transfers, with each Monday payout covering fees generated from Monday 00:00 UTC through Sunday 23:59 UTC of the preceding week. There is a $1 minimum payout. Trades routed through Lighter's partner attribution program with a non-zero integrator fee do not count. Lighter also states it may modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time.
The code on this page is LIGHTERPEDIA. Using the link app.lighter.xyz/?referral=LIGHTERPEDIA attaches it to your account when you create it, so there is nothing to type. See our getting started guide for the full walkthrough.
Yes. Lighter documents a referral program that applies to referrals made on or after 28 July 2026, under which referrers earn 10% or 20% of the gross trading fees paid by users they refer, and referred users get a 10% discount on the fees they pay, rebated weekly. It covers perps, spot and binary options. Attribution is set at sign-up and cannot be changed afterwards.
That depends on whether you would pay fees at all. Regular orders on a standard account trade at 0% maker and 0% taker, so for most users the documented benefit, a 10% rebate on fees paid, applies to fees they were never going to pay. It starts to matter if you use TWAP, advanced orders or RFQ (1 bp on a standard account) or trade on Premium. Using a code costs nothing and cannot raise what you pay. This site does earn a share of fees you pay if you use its code, so weigh the recommendation accordingly. Nothing here is financial advice.
